President of the USA Donald Trump has appointed Michelle Rish as the new ambassador of the United States to Lebanon. The new ambassador replaces diplomat إيزابيل بوحاري, who held this position for the last several years. "It is my great honor to represent the American people and continue strengthening the long-standing friendly relations between the USA and Lebanon," Michelle Rish stated regarding her appointment.
Michelle Rish, an experienced diplomat, has a rich background working in the field of international relations. Prior to this, she served as Deputy National Security Advisor in the Trump administration. Rish also served in Cairo, Baghdad, Beirut, and Afghanistan during different periods of her career.
Following Michelle Rish's appointment, the diplomat in Lebanon is expected to start working on the continuation and development of bilateral relations between the United States and Lebanon.
