US President Donald Trump stated on Monday that the time has come to start negotiations on a new agreement with Iran. According to him, he wants to achieve a stronger and more comprehensive agreement than the one made on the Iranian nuclear program, concluded in 2015. Trump noted that the new agreement should involve all parties, not just several countries, as was the case with the previous deal.
In his address, Trump also emphasized the importance of achieving an agreement, under which Iran is obliged not to produce nuclear weapons. He added that the new agreement should anticipate strict control over Iran's nuclear capabilities in order to guarantee the security of the region and the world as a whole.
"We want to conclude a new agreement that will be better than the previous one," the president pointed out in his address.
