President José Raúl Mulino met with Marco Rubio in a meeting that took place in an informal and cordial atmosphere, where they discussed various topics of common interest for both countries. During the meeting, matters of bilateral cooperation were discussed, and the importance of maintaining smooth and constant communication between Panama and the United States was emphasized.
According to Mulino, Rubio was receptive to the proposals presented by Panama and expressed his interest in continuing to strengthen the relations between both countries. For his part, Rubio praised Panama's efforts in security and the fight against drug trafficking, highlighting the key role the country plays in the region.
At the end of the meeting, both expressed their willingness to continue working together on mutually interested topics and reaffirmed their commitment to cooperation and dialogue as fundamental pillars of the bilateral relationship.
