The legislative representative in Washington for the state of Tennessee, Tim Burchett, during an interview with former Florida congressman Matt Gaetz on a conservative platform, made a surprising statement. "I am told that something is moving at hundreds of kilometers per hour underwater, as large as a football field," he pointed out.
Burchett, known for his statements about the possible existence of extraterrestrial life and for claiming that the United States government hides evidence regarding it, mentioned that the information about the unidentified object under the ocean was provided to him by an admiral, without revealing their identity.
The congressman emphasized that this case was documented and pointed out that the American population should not worry, as, according to him, if this supposed extraterrestrial civilization had hostile intentions, it would have attacked long ago due to its impressive capabilities. Burchett added: "I mean, with those capabilities, they would have roasted us a long time ago."
The Pentagon, for its part, published a report in March 2024 indicating that it did not have evidence of the existence of UFOs. The report noted that many mysterious sightings turned out to be explained by terrestrial phenomena such as weather balloons, spy planes, and satellites, among others.
Tim Burchett has been one of the congressmen who has openly expressed his beliefs regarding the concealment of information by the U.S. government about UFOs and extraterrestrial activities. In the past, Burchett has raised the possibility of extraterrestrial life given "the vastness of God's great universe."
