Grimes Criticizes Elon Musk for Controversial Gesture

Former American billionaire Elon Musk expressed sharp criticism towards his ex-wife following his behavior at the inauguration of President Donald Trump, which many compared to a Nazi salute. Canadian singer Claire Elise Boucher, known as Grimes and having children with Musk, shared her opinion on this in a post on the platform "X", responding to a subscriber who asked her to clarify her stance regarding Musk's actions.

"I’m happy to condemn Nazism and all extremist movements, will this be beneficial in the context of the situation?" - she wrote, adding: "So far, I think about how to act diplomatically, because I feel that I’m in a difficult situation." She also mentioned that she learned about the reactions to Musk's remarks later, as she was traveling without access to Wi-Fi.

Grimes confirmed that she was shocked by Musk's behavior, but she will not issue a statement after each strange action of her former spouse. She also expressed her feelings about Musk's actions that stemmed from his behavior.

After the inauguration speech by Trump, in which Musk expressed gratitude for assistance in organizing the event, he made a hand gesture that many compared to a Nazi salute, since his hand position resembled Adolf Hitler's gesture. Users of the "X" platform, which Musk owns, remarked on the undeniable nature of his gesture, some claimed he was evoking Hitler, while others explained that Musk was expressing his gratitude to the audience.

After the uproar surrounding his actions, Musk reposted his statement on social networks, where he originally indicated his political views following the American elections. He hinted that accusations of Nazi salutes were only part of the response to "a dirty political campaign," as he expressed. Musk stated the need to produce quicker responses to these accusations.

Musk publicized his statement at the inauguration on the "X" platform, replacing the strong salute in the image with a depiction of the audience.
