Kevin O'Leary Interested in TikTok Deal Amid Deadline Extension

Canadian investor Kevin O'Leary has expressed interest in a TikTok deal but sees it as unfeasible under current laws. Trump's recent executive orders extend the deadline for TikTok's ban in the U.S. by 75 days, providing time to determine a suitable path.

In Dubai, Canadian investor Kevin O'Leary expressed interest in purchasing the TikTok application, however, this is not possible due to the existing law that prolongs the ban on social media platforms. US President Donald Trump increased the final deadline for using the application for 75 days as part of the ongoing executive orders, released on Monday. This allows for the possibility to determine further steps.

"I am interested in TikTok and would like to work in this area, but the deadlines do not allow for anything to be done in the present time," said O'Leary, widely known for his participation in the show "Shark Tank." Trump announced this step in a social media post on Sunday, proposing a deal that makes the platform active within the framework of a joint project with American control at 50%.
