The famous series "Friends" continues to be one of the most successful in American television, attracting new generations with its unique humor and universal themes. Starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, the series has become a cultural icon internationally. Throughout its seasons, numerous celebrities have appeared as guest stars in different episodes.

One of those stars has been Christina Applegate, who played Amy Green, Rachel's sister, in an episode titled "The One with Rachel’s Other Sister." Although her appearance was brief, it left a strong impression on fans and critics, earning Applegate an Emmy award in 2004, solidifying her career in American television.

However, Christina Applegate's personal life and health have faced difficult moments recently. In an interview on the podcast "Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend," the actress revealed that she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an autoimmune disease that has had a significant impact on her quality of life.

Applegate shared that facing this new reality has been a challenge, reaching a point where she no longer leaves her house. Moreover, she expressed her frustration over hurtful questions some people have asked her, seemingly blaming her for her medical conditions.

Recalling that she also overcame breast cancer in 2008 through a double mastectomy, Applegate firmly rejected any insinuation that she had done anything to deserve these illnesses. The brave medical decision she made was crucial to saving her life and overcoming that very difficult phase.
