FBI Arrests Over 200 Online Predators

At a joint press conference with FBI Director Kash Patel, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced a national operation carried out in 55 local offices to dismantle criminal activities against minors. This operation, called 'Restore Justice,' has culminated in the arrest of over 200 individuals accused of being 'child sexual predators' on social media in the United States. During five days of intensified actions, 115 victims were rescued in an unprecedented operation.

Bondi praised FBI agents for their efforts in apprehending individuals who, in her words, hide behind a computer screen to attack children daily. She emphasized that if found guilty, those arrested could face maximum prison sentences or life imprisonment. The Attorney General urged parents to supervise their children's online activities, warning of the importance of monitoring and protecting minors in a virtual environment that can be dangerous.

The FBI confirmed that at least 250 people are being investigated in connection with a network of online sexual predators known as '764.' These individuals are characterized by contacting minors through social media and using coercion to force them to engage in violent or sexual acts while being recorded. Authorities have taken these actions seriously and have reinforced measures to combat such crimes that endanger the integrity of minors.
