
Texas officials have reported a sharp increase in the number of confirmed cases of cholera. Since the beginning of April, the number of infected has risen to 683 people, which is 20 more than was reported on April 29.

"The situation with cholera requires special attention and maximum caution from all citizens," emphasized the representative of the Texas Department of Health.
Individuals who suspect they have cholera symptoms should seek medical attention as soon as possible. The state government is actively conducting informational campaigns about the importance of vaccination and warns citizens about the dangers of untreated cholera.
