After a four-year investigation, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has decided not to prosecute Marilyn Manson for allegations of sexual abuse and domestic violence. Although he avoided criminal trial, his reputation has been severely damaged by multiple public accusations, including those from Esmé Bianco and Evan Rachel Wood.
Bianco, known for her role in the series "Game of Thrones," expressed her disappointment at the District Attorney's decision. She highlighted the limitations of the judicial system and the obstacles that victims face in seeking justice. On the other hand, Manson's attorney, Howard King, celebrated the decision, insisting on the musician's innocence.
Esmé Bianco presented evidence such as photos of injuries and compromising messages in her accusation against Manson. She claimed to have suffered physical, emotional, and sexual abuse during her relationship with the musician. Although Manson sued her for defamation, he later withdrew the lawsuit and agreed to cover legal costs.
In the case of Evan Rachel Wood, Manson's former fiancée, she also accused him of abuse and grooming. Although the accusations against Manson have been labeled by him as "horrible distortions of reality," they have generated controversy and public debate, leaving scars on those involved.
The District Attorney's Office, led by Nathan Hochman, explained that they could not sustain the accusations beyond a reasonable doubt. Although no charges were filed, Hochman praised the courage of the accusers and emphasized the importance of their testimonies in raising awareness about the challenges faced by abuse victims.
