The film "Novokain" with Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead role topped the box office in North America during its opening weekend, according to Exhibitor Relations. However, ticket sales for the film's premiere at the box office were quite slow. It is noted that the picture, produced by Paramount Studios, earned about $8.7 million from Friday to Sunday, which is one of the lowest figures for a film occupying the leading position at the box office.

"Mickey 17", a black comedy directed by Bong Joon Ho with Robert Pattinson in the lead role, fell to second place with a collection of $7.51 million. In the film, Pattinson plays a character named Mickey, who is voluntarily sent on dangerous cosmic missions, with each death cloning him for reuse. The film also featured performances by Steven Yeun and Tony Collette.

The film "Black Bag" directed by Steven Soderbergh, starring Michael Fassbender and Kate Blanched in leading roles, took third place after its premiere, earning $7.5 million.

"Capital America: Private World" collected $5.5 million, taking fourth place. The latest installment of the Marvel cinematic universe featuring Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford earned a total of $185.4 million in the USA and $203 million worldwide.

"Dounarchen: Ey, Tyunz Movie", a new animated film featuring characters from "Porky Big" and "Daffy Duck", took fifth place with a collection of $3.2 million.
