The novel by American author Dan Brown returns to libraries next month, after 22 years since the moment of its release, of his book "The Da Vinci Code" and all the years since the moment of its last publication, as announced by its publishers yesterday.
According to their statement, "Origin of Secrets" or "Secretum secretorum" will be released on September 9 of the following year, according to a joint announcement in countries where the sixth part of the related Robert Langdon series will be published, a specialist in symbols.
The publishing house "Penguin Random House" reported that "more than 250 million copies" of works by Dan Brown have been sold in 56 languages. "Origin of Secrets" will be released in a global edition in 16 languages, in the United States will be distributed half a million copies in English by the publisher "Doubleday."
In the statement, Dan Brown (60 years old) is quoted saying: "Certainly, this is my most complicated and ambitious novel, as well as the most captivating."
The plot begins in Prague and concerns "books on the nature of human creation, capable of destroying long-standing beliefs, reigning for centuries," where a secret organization seeks to embellish the manuscript, while events unfold in other major cities, as in other novels by Dan Brown.
It should be noted that initially Dan Brown was a secretive senior teacher, having released two books that did not attract much attention, but his novel "The Da Vinci Code" became one of the best-selling books in world history in 2003.
