In response to growing consumer demands, Amazon officially launched on Tuesday a service for delivering products within an hour or three hours in a number of cities and towns across the United States, with expectations to expand the geographic coverage in the coming months. This is part of the company's continuous efforts to meet the needs of consumers who cannot wait. The service initially covers over 90,000 products, including groceries, cleaning supplies, clothing, toys, and more. Audited Madan, Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Amazon, said: "Our customers today are busier than ever, and they are looking for new ways to save time while keeping their households running smoothly." Previous trials of the service have been successful.
