
Actions on the American market declined on Friday, however, three main indices are aimed at weekly losses after a wave of sales at the beginning of the week, caused by concerns over slowing economic growth due to the trade policy of President Donald Trump’s administration. According to the data from FactSet, the market capitalization of the main index fell to $46.78 trillion by the end of trading on Thursday, down from $52.06 trillion at the peak level, with a loss of $5.28 trillion over three weeks. Following the end of trading on Thursday, the S&P 500 index returned to the correction zone, dropping 10% from its maximum, and American stocks lost $trillion in market value.
"We are seeing an investor exit from the fund market into short-term assets, such as gold and obligations, which also indicates an increased risk-off sentiment among investors," the analyst noted.
