On Monday, the Nasdaq index recorded the biggest drop since the beginning of 2022, which resulted in significant losses among the seven largest tech companies. Companies like Apple, Amazon, Meta, Alphabet, Microsoft, Tesla, and Nvidia suffered considerable losses.
Tesla, in particular, was heavily affected, with its shares dropping by 4.9%, and Nvidia fell by 5.9%. Amazon also declined by 4.1%, Alphabet by 2.5%, Meta by 3.8%, and Microsoft's shares decreased by 2%.
Some experts note that the market decline was triggered by concerns related to rising interest rates in the U.S. and inflation. Additionally, uncertainty related to the situation in Ukraine has also had a negative impact on investors.
At the same time, analysts indicate that tech companies remain among the most dynamically developing sectors of the market, and they may recover their positions in the near future.
