The main factor causing uncertainty is the weakening growth of the global economy. Mnuchin also pointed out that trade tensions, including between the U.S. and China, have a negative impact on global trade.
"We continue to monitor the development of events and are ready to take necessary steps to support the sustainability of our economy," Mnuchin emphasized.
