Verition, a company specializing in the management of limited hedge funds, has announced its intention to acquire a portfolio consisting of 10 distressed credit assets. This move follows the isolation of the distressed credit market and the impact of financial consequences from the pandemic.
"We see potential for creating attractive investment opportunities in this sector, having previously formed a strategy for working with distressed assets and credit events," said a representative of Verition.
The package that is being acquired by Verition includes a variety of distressed credit assets, such as obligations and credits, and is estimated to total around 500 million dollars.
