According to analysts from Grupo Financiero Ve por Más, investors' attention may focus today on trade issues, following a decree signed by Donald Trump to study possible tariffs on copper, the president's plans to reduce taxes, and the recent disappointing economic data in the United States.
Regarding the Mexican and European markets, in Mexico a decrease of 0.22% is observed for the S&P/BMV IPC of the Mexican Stock Exchange, standing at 52,934.63 points, while the FTSE-BIVA of the Institutional Stock Exchange shows a decline of 0.01% to 1,068.54 points.
In Europe, Germany's DAX shows an increase of 1.64%, reaching 22,765.29 points, Spain's IBEX 35 rises 1.34% to 13,299.68 units, France's CAC 40 grows 1.10% to 8,138.07 points, and London's FTSE 100 gains 0.63% to 8,721.85 points.
In the international oil market, contracts are trading with mixed variations. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is up 0.04% at $68.96 per unit, while Brent is down 0.08%, reaching $72.96 per unit.
