Supermicro Computer Company announced a delay in its financial report for the second quarter, following the inclusion of its name in the list of companies on the NASDAQ. The auditing firm BDO, which reviewed Supermicro's accounts, stated in a document that, in its opinion, the financial information presented is fair and reflects the company's financial position as of June 30, 2024, in all material respects, adding that the results comply with generally accepted accounting principles in the USA.
Shares of the server manufacturer rose 22% in after-hours trading following the submission of the documents. The company provided updated and verified financial information to the Securities and Exchange Commission and the US exchanges for the fiscal year 2024, which ends in June.
