USA Expands LNG Exports Under Trump's New Energy Council

According to the statement, the United States is the largest producer of oil and gas in the world. The decision to start exporting energy resources to the markets of Asia and Europe has been accepted. President Trump signed an executive order to establish a new energy council under the leadership of Interior Minister Doug Burgum, who will aim to increase oil and gas production in the USA.

The administration of President Donald Trump announced on Friday that it issued a permit for the Commonwealth LNG project in Louisiana for the export of liquefied natural gas. This is the first approval for the export of liquefied gas after former President Joe Biden simply stopped issuing similar licenses at the beginning of last year.
