The company Meta announced its financial results for the fourth quarter. According to this report, earnings per share amounted to $8.02, while analysts were expecting $6.77. Total revenues reached $48.39 billion, which exceeded expectations of $47.04 billion.
The company's finance manager, Susan Li, noted that the Meta AI chatbot surpassed 700 million users. Sales in the fourth quarter grew by 21% year over year, while net income increased by 49%, totaling $20.8 billion compared to $14 billion in the previous year.
Meta expects first-quarter revenues to range from $39.5 billion to $41.8 billion, which is below analysts' predictions of $41.73 billion.
