Trump accused the Federal Reserve of being unable to prevent rising inflation and the collapse of stock indices, saying: "The Federal Reserve and Powell have not worked. They cannot foresee a collapse that they created."
The president made his comments during a period of rising inflation in the USA, caused by the increase in energy prices and other goods. Trump emphasized that Congress and the administration should take immediate measures to mitigate the effects of rising prices and instability in the market.
