In the interview, Trump also criticized Nancy Pelosi for not protecting the Capitol during the January 6, 2021 assault. After the broadcast, Schiff responded by pointing out that Trump continues to threaten military action against his "internal enemies" based on his "usual falsehoods." Kamala Harris's campaign team commented that even in a safe environment like Fox News, Trump continues to demonstrate his unbalanced and unstable character.
Donald Trump participated in a Town Hall in Pennsylvania, a key state in the election, where he received praise from his supporters and responded to questions on various topics, focusing on his anti-immigration speech and his exaggerated claims about rising crime in the United States. Previously, he campaigned in a McDonald's, criticizing his Democratic rival for claiming to have worked at that fast-food chain in the past.

Regarding Trump's comments about Schiff, the former president referred to him as a "corrupt politician," in relation to the Democratic congressman's accusations about emails between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer during the 2016 election. Trump claimed that Schiff wanted to send his son to prison, considering him an "internal enemy."
