Mexico is Texas's largest trading partner, generating over five hundred thousand jobs and $270 billion in economic activity in the state.

Glenn Hamer of the Texas Business Association noted that the USMCA has benefited Texas as the leading exporting state in the U.S. The coalition 'Texas Leads Trade' works to improve the treaty and promote smoother trade. The importance of innovation, trade, infrastructure, and energy for the region's competitiveness was highlighted.

Texas was recognized as the 'Best State for Business' for the twenty-first consecutive year and received the 2025 Prosperity Cup for its performance in attracting commercial investments. Companies like Tesla, SpaceX, AT&T, Dell, HP, and others have contributed to Texas's success as a leader in energy, logistics, and technology.

Governor Abbott emphasized the importance of collaboration between the private sector, academia, and government to maintain Texas's economic strength. The 'Texas CHIPS Act' was mentioned to boost semiconductor production. The pro-business, pro-education, and limited government approach in Texas was highlighted. The celebration of the YTEXAS Summit in September 2025 was announced to promote collaboration between both countries.
