The police department of the city of Orland reported on Friday that two people were killed, and six others were injured as a result of shooting in the city center.

The police received a call regarding the open shooting on Thursday around 11:45 PM in the central area of Orland. At the scene, law enforcement found two fatalities. One of the injured was detained and taken to a medical facility with life-threatening injuries.

"This was a real confrontation involving a multitude of individuals; as a result of the shooting, two people died, and another six suffered injuries of varying degrees of severity," noted the police department of the city of Orland.

The offenders, from whom the report of the shooting followed, were detained and presented before the authorities. They are under custody, and at this moment, the police are conducting an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
