A man from the state of Connecticut reported his traumatic experience, stating that he strongly missed his cat at home. 28-year-old Logan Mirmofari from Noridge was arrested early Sunday morning, January 26, and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and impaired driving.
The police reported that Logan was driving his car at a speed of over 130 miles per hour (209 km/h) on the highway because he wanted to return home to see his cat. Patrol officers in Noridge noticed at 12:45 AM a Kia vehicle that was traveling at an excessive speed on the highway.
When they asked him about the reason for such speed, he replied that he was rushing home to his cat. The police noted that he appeared to be drunk, was slurring his words, had glassy eyes, and an unpleasant odor. After a failed sobriety test, he was arrested and placed under custody. He was released later on a $500 bond, and he is required to appear before the court. As of now, the police have not confirmed whether he has a valid cat.
