According to a survey published by the polling agency Gallup, Donald Trump's initial approval rating as President of the United States stands at 47%, while 48% of American adults disapprove of his performance as leader. Despite these numbers, the Republican magnate has a 46% approval rating among independent voters compared to his first term, representing an increase of 6 percentage points.
