A judge in New York set the start date for the trial between actress Blake Lively and co-star and director of 'It Ends With Us', Justin Baldoni, for March 9, 2026. Baldoni had sued Ryan Reynolds and Lively in the Big Apple shortly after she accused him of sexual harassment during the filming of the movie.
The judge decided to reschedule the initial hearing to consider the imposition of a possible restraining order that would prevent Baldoni from speaking about the case, moving the date up to February 3 from the initially planned February 12. In December, Lively accused Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios of trying to damage her reputation through a social media campaign after she reported the harassment she suffered during filming.
Baldoni's lawyers argue that Lively deliberately and systematically took the film from them, using threats and extortion to prevent her co-stars from attending the premiere while she garnered attention. On January 2, Baldoni also filed a defamation lawsuit against The New York Times for publishing the claim made by his co-star.
