The President of the United States, Joe Biden, went to vote early this week for the presidential elections on November 5th. Biden cast his vote at a polling center in Delaware, the state where he resides. Upon arriving at the polling place in New Castle, the president joined a line of about one hundred people before he could vote.
While waiting, Biden had the opportunity to greet and chat with voters who approached him. He was accompanied by Democratic Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester, the current Senate candidate from Delaware, with whom he previously shared breakfast at a local restaurant.
So far, at least 41.9 million Americans have cast their vote early for these presidential elections. In the race are Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and former Republican President Donald Trump (2017-2021).
