Alonso's Frustrating Crash at Miami GP

The sprint race of the Miami Grand Prix of Formula 1 was disrupted due to rain on the track. However, the most shocking moment was Fernando Alonso's crash into the barrier after being hit hard by Liam Lawson. Despite this incident triggering the activation of the safety car, Alonso managed to exit on his own.

At the end of the race, Alonso was seen extremely upset, confronting Liam Lawson. In statements to the media, he delivered a strong message against his team, arguing that an earlier tire change would have prevented him from having to fight at the back with Lawson. Alonso criticized the team's strategy for not putting on dry tires sooner, despite his constant requests during the race.

Regarding the performance in the sprint race, McLaren shone by achieving a 1-2 finish. Lando Norris took first place, followed by Óscar Piastri and Lewis Hamilton rounding out the top 3. Alonso expressed more frustration with his team's strategy than with Lawson, emphasizing that they should have been fighting for the podium with Hamilton instead of being at the bottom of the standings.

The strong impact that Alonso received caused significant damage to his Aston Martin car. During a turn on lap 16, Lawson hit Alonso from behind, causing the Spaniard to crash into the wall. As a result, a tire flew off, and the front wing detached, leaving the Spanish driver's car in poor condition.
