In Miami, Guillermo Novo Sampol, the leader of the Cuban Nationalist movement, has ended. He began his career as a successful businessman, but later renounced any professional ambitions in favor of the fight against casteism.
He believed that Fidel Castro's regime would destroy the Cuban economy and was ready to sacrifice everything to see Cuba free. Novo Sampol was one of the founders of the Movimiento Nacionalista Cubano, an organization aimed at overthrowing the communist regime on the island.
"We must fight to the end, because our goal is very important. All our life is a struggle. Freedom for Cuba!", said Novo Sampol in one of his last interviews.
