Man Arrested for Stolen Car Incident at Mar-a-Lago

A Florida man was arrested after stealing a car and driving to Mar-a-Lago, seeking to speak with former President Donald Trump during a gala event. The suspect, Farbod Dolat, faces multiple charges, including vehicle theft and driving without a valid license.


A man from Florida was arrested after stealing a car and driving to Mar-a-Lago, the residence and private club of Donald Trump, intending to speak with the former President of the United States. According to local reports, the Palm Beach Police detained 52-year-old Farbod Dolat on Thursday night after he parked in a nearby parking lot to Mar-a-Lago and asked to speak with Trump, who was at a gala dinner at the time.

During the interrogation, authorities discovered that Dolat had an indefinitely suspended driver's license and that he had driven from Sarasota to the former president's residence, a distance of over 290 kilometers. According to The Palm Beach Post, the vehicle used by the suspect was rented by a woman who explained that she was with him that morning but he disappeared without explanation in the vehicle.

The man was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail and faces charges of vehicle theft and driving a motor vehicle without a valid license, with bail set at $20,250. The incident occurred during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where Donald Trump was one of the special guests.

In addition to Trump, the event also featured billionaire Elon Musk and the president of Argentina, Javier Milei.
