'Now Democrats are so extreme that Miami will soon become a refuge for those fleeing communism in New York. They are forcing federal employees not to get their paychecks and are leaving thousands of travelers stranded in airports,' Trump denounced. Trump was the keynote speaker on the first day of the ABF, which on Wednesday and Thursday brings together leaders in Miami such as himself, Argentine President Javier Milei, Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado, and athletes like Rafael Nadal and Lionel Messi. 'In New York, but I'm trying to get out because I don't want to live in a communist regime,' the president stated at the America Business Forum (ABF). Trump asserted that 'the United States lost a bit of sovereignty last night in New York' with Mamdani's election, who identifies as a democratic socialist and made history by becoming the first Muslim and youngest mayor of the country's largest city.
