Miami, Nov 5 (EFE).- The United States War Department carried out a new attack on Tuesday against a 'vessel' allegedly operated by a designated terrorist organization in the Eastern Pacific and confirmed two alleged drug traffickers were killed. 'We will locate and destroy all vessels intending to traffic drugs into the United States to poison our citizens,' War Secretary Hegseth said while confirming the new attack. Hegseth indicated that the operation was carried out in international waters in the Eastern Pacific, near Colombia, and accompanied his post on Truth Social with a video of the operation. With this new attack, there have been more than a dozen lethal attacks and over 25 deaths since the United States deployed Southern Command forces near the coast of Venezuela in the Caribbean and more recently in the Eastern Pacific near Colombia. Late last week, various U.S. media outlets reported that the Pentagon was preparing for possible attacks on land targets after President Donald Trump stated that maritime trafficking has been 'controlled'.
