In the recent edition N°37 of the Premios Lo Nuestro 2025, it was held at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. More than 40 prominent artists gathered for the gala, which was hosted by Laura Pausini, Thalía, and Alejandra Espinoza. Shakira stood out by winning six awards, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Artist.
At the event, the winners in various categories were highlighted. Carín León led with five awards followed by Camilo with four statuettes. During the awards ceremony, artists like Reik, Silvestre Dangond, Emilia, Venesti, Guaynaa, Becky G, Natti Natasha, Óscar Maydon, El Alfa, Prince Royce, and Alejandra Guzmán delivered memorable musical performances.
The winner in the category Artist of the Year was Karol G. In Song of the Year, the song "If I Had Known You Before" received the recognition. Competitors included songs like "Forgiving You, For What?", "On the Contrary", and "First Date", among others.
Regarding Mexican music awards, Shakira also had relevance, being awarded in the Female Collaboration category for her work with Ángela Aguilar and Becky G. Other winners included Grupo Frontera in Group or Duo of the Year and Xavi in the Song Banda of the Year category.
Recognition and musical diversity were present in this edition of the Premios Lo Nuestro, highlighting artists and songs from different genres and enriching the Latin American music scene.
