Luxury Lamborghini Yacht Sinking Incident in Miami Beach

A luxury yacht inspired by Lamborghini supercars sank in Miami over the weekend, with 32 people rescued and no injuries reported, the Coast Guard reported. The 63-foot boat began to flood near Monument Island on Saturday afternoon. Fortunately, it posed no danger to other vessels.

The Tecnomar for Lamborghini is a high-end vessel with a capacity for 16 people, created by Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group. This limited edition weighs 24 tons and can reach speeds of up to 63 knots. Rescue teams responded quickly to the emergency and transported those rescued to a safe port for evaluation. Fortunately, none were injured, according to the Miami Beach Fire Department.

Authorities are investigating the reasons why the yacht began to sink, although they noted that it was carrying double its capacity when the incident occurred. Monument Island, near where the event took place, is known to be home to several celebrities. Salvage operations are working to recover the vessel without posing a danger to navigation in the area.
