Elon Musk Defends Trump at Lancaster Event

Tycoon Elon Musk participated in a Pennsylvania assembly in support of Republican candidate Donald Trump, where he discussed a variety of topics and referred to the Capitol assault in January 2021. Amid flattering questions, a serious question arose about Trump's role in that insurrection.

Musk responded that the events of January 6 cannot be classified as a violent insurrection, generating applause from the audience. However, more than 100 officers were injured when Trump supporters stormed the Capitol to impede the certification of votes, believing in false claims about the election outcome.

The businessman also expressed that those who view Trump as a threat to democracy are, in fact, a threat in themselves. Musk took time to answer questions and highlighted his support for the current president, who was promised a position in case of electoral victory.

During the event, Musk questioned mail-in voting, pointing out potential fraud risks and advocating for early voting in elections. In an erratic and relaxed atmosphere, a wide range of topics were addressed, from space exploration and Tesla vehicles to immigration and medical issues.

In the midst of the meeting, Musk emphasized the importance of not accepting mail-in votes in the future, considering them a practice that could lend itself to fraud, highlighting his rejection during the COVID-19 pandemic.
