The Indian Wells Masters 1000, one of the most important tournaments in the world of tennis, will begin this Wednesday. The Argentine players already know their opponents in the main draw, which will feature 96 participants, with the top 32 seeds starting in the second round.

Francisco Cerúndolo, the only Argentine among the 32 seeds, will debut directly in the second round. Ranked 26th in the ATP ranking, he will face the winner between the Spanish Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and the American Mackenzie McDonald. Cerúndolo has recently earned good points in the South American clay court tour.

Sebastián Báez, who recently won the title at the ATP 500 in Rio and also reached the final at the ATP 250 in Chile, will face a qualifier in the first round of Indian Wells.
