A thirty-year-old pilot of the U.S. Air Force miraculously survived after the crash of a single-seat F-35 fighter at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska. The pilot managed to eject from the damaged plane. He received minor injuries and is currently in stable condition.

At around 6:20 PM local time, the F-35A fighter jet crashed. The pilot was conducting a flight in the area during a training mission. According to the press service of the airbase, as a result, the fire was localized and extinguished.

A subsequent team has already begun investigating the incident and determining its cause. Details of the incident have not yet been disclosed, and the investigating bodies are establishing all the circumstances of the emergency.
