Trino Marín has been released from prison after serving 18 of the 31 years he was sentenced for sexually abusing sisters Rosie, Chiquis, and Jacqie Rivera. The news of his release was announced by journalist and host Addis Tuñón, who confirmed that Trino Rivera is no longer in any of California's prisons.
In a video published by Addis Tuñón, it was revealed that Trino Marín was released on November 26, 2024, without being on parole. This decision has generated controversy, especially after Rosie Rivera warned last year that Trino could be released.
Rosie Rivera, sister of Jenni Rivera, reported in October 2023 that a judge would review Trino Marín's case, offering him the opportunity to testify as a victim. Despite this, Rosie chose not to attend and expressed her confusion about whether Trino had reconciled with God. Although she assured that she would never trust her children to Trino, she admitted that she would respect the judge's decision, which ultimately resulted in the release of her abuser.
