Francisco Iturbide, general director of operations, competitions, and development at Liga MX, stated: “Furthermore, we will continue to strengthen the sports rivalry with MLS.” This matchup between Liga MX and MLS is expected to generate high expectations, as the MLS features prominent figures like Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets, who shone at Barcelona.
Similarly, Liga MX has players who have also stood out at Real Madrid, such as Sergio Ramos and James Rodríguez. Although the list of call-ups from each league has not yet been revealed, the presence of the aforementioned players is anticipated.
Ticket sales for this event will begin on Wednesday, March 26, at 10 a.m. through the MLS portal. The participation of renowned players from both leagues promises to offer an exciting and high-level spectacle.
