Three Killed in Austin Shooting

A shooting in Austin, Texas, left three people dead and 18 injured. The incident, which began around 2 a.m., occurred at a popular bar, 'Buford's Backyard Beer Garden,' on Sixth Street, a busy entertainment district. According to preliminary reports, the attack started with shots fired from a vehicle, and the assailant continued shooting on foot with a long gun. The attacker, identified as 53-year-old U.S. citizen Ndiaga Diagne, originally from Senegal, was shot and killed by police. The FBI is working with local police on the investigation and found 'clues' in the suspect's vehicle that point to 'possible terrorist links.' Authorities have not yet determined if the attacker acted alone, if there was prior planning, or if the location was under surveillance. Texas Governor Greg Abbott expressed condolences, and Austin Mayor Kirk Watson called the incident an 'extremely difficult and traumatic moment for our city.'
